Georgia Battles to Beat Vanderbilt 24-14

Georgia Bulldogs

Tailback Knowshon Moreno rushed for 172 yards and a touchdown to lead the No. 10 Georgia Bulldogs over the No. 22 Vanderbilt Commodores. Matthew Stafford completed 13 of 23 passes for 194 yards and a touchdown. Seven of those passes and one TD were caught by freshman receiver A.J. Green, who racked up 132 total yards.

The win moves the Bulldogs to 6-1 overall and 3-1 in the SEC. Georgia is now tied atop the SEC East with the Florida Gators, who are off this weekend.

Next up for the Dawgs is a trip to Baton Rouge to face the currently 13th ranked LSU Tigers.

Following the LSU game, the Bulldogs travel to Jacksonville for the Cocktail Party against the Florida Gators. Revenge will certainly be on Florida’s mind after Georgia intentionally celebrated their 1st touchdown and went on to beat the Gators 42-30.

Tickets for the Cocktail Party will most likely be tough if the Dawgs and Gators don’t lose before they meet.
