SicEmDawgs.com

The Hoop Dawgs are still struggling, losers of 10 in a row. Under interim head coach Pete Herrmann, the Dawgs have lost three in a row by an average of 11.3 points per game. Tonight they hope to turn it around and somehow steal a victory from the Tennessee Volunteers (14-8, 5-3 SEC).

The game tips off at 8:05 p.m. EST and will be broadcast regionally by Raycom Sports. The game can also be heard on the radio on in Atlanta on WSB (750 AM), in Athens on WPUP-FM (100.1 FM) and WRFC (960 AM) and on XM Radio Channel 200.

The search for Dennis Felton’s replacement continues, although it is still early in the process. The AJC reported yesterday that Dan Parker and Parker Executive Search have been retained by the University of Georgia to “identify and make initial contacts with potential candidates.”

And in other UGA basketball news, Roger Clarkson of OnlineAthens.com reports that Jeremy Price and Travis Leslie will both play tonight at Tennessee. Price and Leslie were benched by Herrmann on Saturday at South Carolina for shouting and shoving each other.
