Drazen Zlovaric, DeMario Mayfield to Transfer from UGA

SicEmDawgs.com

On Thursday, news broke that guard DeMario Mayfield was going to transfer from Georgia. Yesterday, UGA announced that Drazen Zlovaric will also transfer.

Zlovaric, a native of Novi Sad, Serbia, averaged 1 point and 0.6 rebounds per game over his two year career at Georgia. He signed with Dennis Felton during the Fall 2007 signing period.

The transfer of Mayfield and Zlovaric opens up two crucial scholarships for the Dawgs. Mark Fox can now sign four recruits during the 2010 Spring signing period. The Dawgs will have four scholarships to give in 2011, but could have one or two more if Trey Thompkins and/or Travis Leslie leaves for the NBA.
