The Georgia Bulldogs will host the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens on November 20, 2010. MVSU’s 2010-11 schedule was released on Tuesday confirming the matchup (ht – Jerry M.).
The Dawgs and Devils have only met once on the hardwood, a consolation game in the 2008 NIT Season Tip-Off. Georgia won that game 98-57.
Last week, it was revealed that Georgia will face Notre Dame in the first round of the Old Spice Classic in Orlando on November 25.
The Hoop Dawgs are also rumored to host Arkansas State in Athens and travel to Saint Louis on November 20.
On Monday night at the Greater Atlanta Bulldog Club meeting, head coach Mark Fox stated that the 2010-11 schedule was almost completed. He went on to say that they were “trying to schedule to get in the NCAA Tournament, plain and simple.”
