Georgia Beats Charleston Southern 70-55

The Georgia Bulldogs beat the Charleston Southern Buccaneers 70-55 Tuesday night in Athens. Travis Leslie led the Hoop Dawgs with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists.

The win improved Georgia’s overall record to 10-2. UGA has now won seven straight games and are undefeated in December.

Trey Thompkins came off the bench to score 13 points and grab 5 rebounds. Jeremy Price, who scored 10, was the only starter to score in double-figures.

Next up for the Bulldogs is a home game against the Eastern Kentucky Colonels on Friday, December 31, 2010. The game will be televised by FSN at 1:00 p.m. ET. This will be the last non-conference game for Georgia before they open SEC play on January 8 at home against Kentucky.
