Trey Thompkins led Georgia with 15 points and 7 rebounds as the Bulldogs defeated Arkansas State 68-59 in Athens. The Hoop Dawgs are now 7-2 overall.
Travis Leslie also came up big with 14 points and a game-high 8 rebounds. Chris Barnes came off the bench to score 12 points. He also hit two straight free-throws and won a bet with head coach Mark Fox. In turn, Fox had to run the steps at Sanford Stadium.
Next up for the Dawgs is a home game against the High Point Panthers on Tuesday, December 21, 2010. The game will be televised by CSS at 7:00 p.m. ET.
