Herschel Walker talks to football team during his Athens visit

UGA football legend Herschel Walker discusses his speech to the 2011 football squad in an interview with GTV that aired on GeorgiaDogs.com on June 22.

Walker motivated the Bulldogs to “play as a unit” and advised everyone to “do [their] job…and everything will turn out to do well.”

The former running back emphasized the importance of creating a solid foundation for their team and constructing bonds to sustain benefits on the football field. “What they need to do is come together,” said Walker in the interview, “you’ve got to do it during those hot days in the sun together, during these hot days when you’re going to the cafeteria to eat together, you’ve got to do everything together as a unit.”
