Caldwell-Pope leads Georgia over USC 63-59

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored a career-high 21 points to lead Georgia over USC 63-59 late Saturday night in Los Angeles.

With the win, Georgia is now 5-5 on the season and 1-2 on the road. The Bulldogs also improved their overall record against USC to 2-0.

Gerald Robinson scored 17 points, whiles Dustin Ware came off the bench to add 12. For Ware, the game ended his streak of starting in 87 consecutive games.

The Hoop Dawgs shot 51% on the night, their highest of the season. They also shot 69% from three-point range. Caldwell-Pope was 4-of-5 and Ware was 4-of-4.

Georgia’s next game is Tuesday night in Athens against the Mercer Bears. The game will be televised by CSS and ESPN3 at 7:00 p.m. ET.
