The No. 19 Florida Gators routed the Georgia Bulldogs 70-48 Tuesday night in Gainesville. The loss drops the Dawgs to 9-7 overall and 0-2 in the SEC.

Georgia lost to Florida for the 15th time in their last 17 meetings. The Bulldogs have now lost ten straight in Gainesville.

Nemanja Djurisic led the Bulldogs with 14 points and 6 rebounds. He was the only Bulldog to score in double-figures. Gerald Robinson and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope each scored 8 points while Donte Williams added 7 points and 6 rebounds.

The Bulldogs again found themselves trailing at the half, this time by 14. In the second half, the Gators built up a 24 point lead before Georgia whittled it down to 13 with just under five minutes remaining.

Hot shooting by the Gators in the closing minutes put the game out of reach and sent the Bulldogs home winless in the SEC after two games.

The Bulldogs finished the game shooting 36.4% (20-55) and 38.9% (7-18) from three-point range.

Georgia’s next game is Saturday at the Vanderbilt Commodores (11-4, 1-0 SEC). The game tips off at 4:00 p.m. ET and will be televised by the SEC Network.
