SicEmDawgs.com

Shattle FentengUGA has picked up another verbal commitment, this one from JUCO defensive back Shattle Fenteng. He is the 17th commitment for Georgia’s 2014 recruiting class.

Fenteng (6-2, 185, 4.45) is from Grayson, Georgia and currently plays for Hutchinson Community College in Kansas. He committed to UGA over offers from several top schools, including Kansas State, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, and West Virginia.

Rivals.com rates Fenteng as a 4-star recruit, while both 247Sports.com and Scout.com rate him 3-stars.

“The main thing for me is that I want to win,” Fenteng told UGASports.com. “I mean, I want to win a national title and I think Georgia is on their way. They also told me that I am the number one cornerback on their board. I really like that. Not just that, but they also told me that if I was enrolled there right now, I’d have a great shot to play against Clemson in the first game, so I thought that was great, too.”

Fenteng is the third defensive back to commitment to Georgia. He joins Kendall Gant of Lakeland, FL and Malkom Parrish of Quitman, GA.
