Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd tossed three touchdown passes and ran for two more as the No. 8 Clemson Tigers beat the No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday night.

Georgia fell behind by 10 in the fourth quarter until Aaron Murray scored on a one-yard run to cut Clemson’s lead to 38-35. On the ensuing kickoff, Clemson recovered the onside kick to preserve the victory.

Murray finished the game 20-of-29 for 323 yards and one interception. Michael Bennett caught five passes for 60 yards while Chris Conley pulled in three for 67 yards.

Todd Gurley led the Dawgs on the ground with 12 carries for 154 yards and two touchdowns. Keith Marshall added 43 yards on 16 carries.

Georgia’s young defense was unable to contain Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd, who threw for 270 yards and accounted for all five of their touchdowns.

The Bulldogs must now regroup for next Saturday’s match-up at home vs. Jadeveon Clowney and South Carolina. The game will be televised by ESPN at 4:30 p.m. ET.
