Five Bulldogs named to Phil Steele’s 2015 Preseason All-American Team

Five Georgia Bulldogs have been named to Phil Steele’s 2015 Preseason All-American Team.

Sophomore running back Nick Chubb was named to Steele’s 1st Team on Offense, while junior offensive guard Greg Pyke was named to the 3rd Team.

On defense, sophomore Leonard Floyd was named to the 1st team and senior linebacker Jordan Jenkins was named to the 4th team.

Sophomore Isaiah McKenzie was named to the 2nd Team on Special Teams.

Overall, four players from the SEC were named to the First-Team Offense and five were named to the First-Team Defense.

Each of the above Bulldogs plus six more were also named to Phil Steele’s 2015 Preseason All-SEC Team.

Nick Chubb and Greg Pyke were named to the 1st Team on Offense, offensive lineman John Theus was named to the 2nd Team, and wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell was named to the 4th Team.

On defense, Jordan Jenkins and Leonard Floyd were named to the 1st Team, Lorenzo Carter and Quincy Mauger were named to the 3rd Team, and Dominick Sanders was named to the 4th Team.

Isaiah McKenzie was named to the 1st Team as a punt returner and the 2nd Team as a kick returner. Marshall Morgan was named to the 4th Team.
