On Sunday, Georgia picked up a commitment for the class of 2019. On Tuesday, the Bulldogs picked up a commitment from a 2018 recruit – three-star linebacker Donovan Georges.
247Sports broke the news of Georges’ commitment.
Georges (6-2, 230) currently plays for Champagnat Catholic in Hialeah, Florida. He committed to the Bulldogs over Miami (FL) and also held offers from Alabama, Indiana, Louisville, LSU, Michigan State, Syracuse, South Carolina, West Virginia, and others.
In the 247Sports Composite, Donovan Georges is listed as a three-star recruit, the No. 15 inside linebacker, and the No. 488 overall recruit for the 2018 class.
Georges is the third verbal commitment for the Georgia Bulldogs for the 2018 class. He joins four-star outside linebacker Adam Anderson and four-star offensive lineman Max Wray of Franklin, Tennessee.
