Four-star forward Amanze Ngumezi commits to UGA for 2018

During his official visit to Georgia on Saturday, three-star forward Amanze Ngumezi committed to Mark Fox and the Georgia Bulldogs for 2018.

“Everything is just perfect here for me,”Ngumezi told UGASports moments after his commitment at 12:22 a.m. ET on Sunday morning. “It’s hard for me to not be successful. It’s more then basketball, the education is unbeatable.”

Ngumezi (6-9, 235) plays for Johnson High School in Savannah, Georgia. He committed to the Bulldogs over offers from Tennessee, UAB, Clemson, Wichita State, Arkansas, Houston, Illinois, Mississippi State, and others.

Rivals.com rates Ngumezi as a four-star recruit and the No. 106 overall player for the class of 2018.

In the 247Sports Composite, Ngumezi is rated as a three-star recruit, the No. 32 power forward, and No. 130 overall.
