Four-star defensive end Rashad Cheney has decommitted from the Georgia Bulldogs, Cheney announced on Thursday. Cheney was UGA’s third commitment for their 2019 class.

“I have decided to de-commit from Georgia,” Cheney told Rivals.com. “Georgia is a great school, they have great coaches and there is nothing bad I can say about Georgia, but this is a life decision for me and I just need to make sure I make the right decision.”

Cheney (6-4, 256) currently plays for Washington High School in Atlanta, Georgia. He committed to the Bulldogs over offers from LSU, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

In the 247Sports Composite, Cheney is rated four stars, the No. 13 defensive tackle, and the No. 191 overall recruit for 2019.

According to Rivals, Rashad Cheney is now open to all schools and does not currently have a favorite.
