The UGA basketball SEC opponents for the 2018-19 season have officially been set, the school announced on Wednesday.

SEC opponents heading to Stegeman Coliseum in 2019 include Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Vanderbilt. Georgia’s SEC road games include Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas A&M.

Georgia plays their three permanent opponents, Auburn, Florida, and South Carolina, on a home-and-home basis each season.

“We will certainly have our hands full for sure,” head coach Tom Crean said. “The energy of our team and the energy of our fans has been impressive since the day I arrived in Athens. That partnership will become even more important when we begin playing games. For us to get to a championship level, we need everyone – our players, our staff, our UGA students and everyone in the Bulldog Nation – to be on the same page and excited about Georgia Basketball. We all need to work together to make Stegeman Coliseum as loud and as intimidating as it possibly can be.”

Georgia’s non-conference schedule has not yet been announced, but several opponents are known. UGA will host Savannah State on Nov. 9, Arizona State on Dec. 15, UMass on Dec. 29, and Oakland on a date to be announced.

The Bulldogs will also host the Texas Longhorns as part of the Big 12-SEC Challenge. The game is slated for Stegeman Coliseum on Jan. 26, 2019.

Road non-conference games currently include Temple on Nov. 16 and Georgia Tech on a date to be determined.

The Bulldogs will also play in the 2018 Cayman Islands Classic tournament. The bracket hasn’t been announced, but the field includes Clemson, Creighton, St. Bonaventure, Illinois State, Boise State, Akron, and Georgia State.
