The Georgia Bulldogs announced their full non-conference basketball schedule on Tuesday, which includes home games vs. Arizona State, Texas, and UMass.

Georgia will open their 2018-19 non-conference slate on Friday, Nov. 9 at home in Stegeman Coliseum against the Savannah State Tigers. UGA will then hit the road to take on the Temple Owls on Tuesday, Nov. 13 before returning home to host the Sam Houston State Bearkats on Friday, Nov. 16.

The Bulldogs then travel to play in the 2018 Cayman Islands Classic in Grand Cayman. Georgia faces Illinois State in the first round on Monday, Nov. 19 and will then face either Akron or Clemson on Tuesday, Nov. 20. Other teams in the tournament include Boise State, Creighton, Georgia State, and St. Bonaventure.

Georgia then returns to Stegeman Coliseum to host four consecutive games: Kennesaw State (Tuesday, Nov. 27), Texas Southern (Monday, Dec. 3), Arizona State (Saturday, Dec. 15), and Oakland (Tuesday, Dec. 18).

The Bulldogs travel to face in-state rival Georgia Tech on Saturday, Dec. 22 and host UMass on Sunday, Dec. 30. After a few SEC contests, the Bulldogs close out the non-conference portion of their schedule at home against Texas in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge on Saturday, Jan. 26.

“A lot got done in a relatively short period of time, and I appreciate the hard work of everyone involved, led by John Bateman (Assistant AD for Marketing), in finalizing our schedule,” head coach Tom Crean said. “I think we’ve built a very challenging non-conference schedule that will help prepare us for SEC play.”

Georgia’s SEC opponents have been set, but dates have not yet been announced. UGA will host Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Vanderbilt. The Dawgs will travel to play Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas A&M.
