Baker, Blankenship named to 2018 AP Preseason All-America Team

Georgia Bulldogs senior defensive back Deandre Baker and junior kicker Rodrigo Blankenship have been named to the 2018 AP Preseason All-America Team, it was announced on Tuesday.

Deandre Baker was named to the First Team along with cornerback Greedy Williams of LSU. Rodrigo Blankenship was named to the Second Team.

Below are the complete 2018 AP Preseason All-America First and Second teams:

FIRST TEAM

Offense

Quarterback — Will Grier, senior, West Virginia.

Running backs — Bryce Love, senior, Stanford; Jonathan Taylor, sophomore, Wisconsin.

Tackles — Jonah Williams, junior, Alabama; Mitch Hyatt, senior, Clemson.

Guards — Beau Benzschawel, senior, Wisconsin; Nate Herbig, junior, Stanford.

Center — Ross Pierschbacher, senior, Alabama.

Tight end — Noah Fant, junior, Iowa.
