Georgia ranked 3rd in 2018 preseason AP Poll

The Georgia Bulldogs are ranked 3rd in the 2018 Preseason Top 25 AP Poll. UGA, who finished 13-2 overall and 7-1 in the SEC in 2017, received a total of 1,350 points.

UGA is ranked 4th in the preseason Coaches Poll that was released on August 2.

Two of Georgia’s 2018 opponents are ranked in the preseason poll. Auburn is ranked 9th and LSU is ranked 25th.

Alabama tops the preseason AP rankings. Other SEC teams ranked in the Top 25 include Auburn (10th), Mississippi State (18th), LSU (25th) .

The SEC and Big Ten lead all conferences with five teams each in the AP Top 25 poll. The ACC, Big 12, and Pac-12 are second with four teams, followed by the The American, Mountain West, and Independents with one.
