Three Bulldogs named to 2018 FWAA Freshman All-American Team

Three Georgia Bulldogs have been named to the 2018 Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) Freshman All-America Team, according to an announcement on Monday.

Named to the team was true freshman offensive lineman Cade Mays, redshirt freshman Isaiah Wilson, and true freshman defensive lineman Jordan Davis.

The SEC led all conferences with six players named to the FWAA Freshman All-American Team, and Georgia led all teams with three players.

The team was selected by a “13-person panel of nationally-prominent college football experts represented each of the FBS conferences along with independents.”
