Tyron McMillan, a four-star power forward from Kilgore College in Kilgore, Texas, has committed to Tom Crean and the Georgia Bulldogs for 2020.

McMillan, 6-foot-9 and 230-pounds, committed to the Bulldogs overs offers from Arizona State, Baylor, Kansas, LSU, Oregon State, St. John’s, and Texas A&M.

At Kilgore College last season, McMillan started 27 of 29 games and averaged 10.4 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.

Rated four-stars by Rivals.com, McMillan is the fifth recruit for Tom Crean’s incoming class for the 2020-21 season. He joins point guard K.D. Johnson (Hargrave Military Academy), power forward Josh Taylor (Norcross High School) and small forward Jonathan Ned and point guard Mikal Starks, both from Eastern Florida State College.

With the transfer of Rodney Howard and Anthony Edwards entering the 2020 NBA Draft, the Bulldogs currently have two scholarships to give. Rayshaun Hammonds is testing the NBA waters and would leave Georgia with a third scholarship if he doesn’t return for his senior season.
