Cedric Washington, a four-star linebacker from Cedartown, Ga., has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs for the class of 2022.
Washington announced his commitment to Georgia via a video that he posted to his Twitter account on Wednesday.

Cedric Washington (6-2, 220) committed to the Georgia Bulldogs over LSU and Tennessee. He also had offers from several other schools, including Florida, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Nebraska, and Ole Miss.
In the 247Sports Composite, Washington is listed as a four-star recruit, the No. 5 inside linebacker, and the No. 98 overall recruit for the 2022 class. Rivals.com also rates Washington as a four-star recruit.
Cedric Washington is the 2nd verbal commitment for UGA’s 2022 recruiting class. He joins four-star cornerback Marquis Groves-Killebrew, who committed to the Bulldogs in May.
