Georgia ranked 4th in 2020 preseason Coaches Poll

The Georgia Bulldogs are ranked 4th in the 2020 preseason Coaches Poll Top 25. UGA, which finished 12-2 overall and 7-1 in the SEC in 2019, received a total of 1,345 points.

Three of Georgia’s 2020 opponents are ranked in the preseason poll. Alabama is ranked 3rd, Florida is ranked 8th, and Auburn is ranked 11th.

Clemson tops the preseason Top 25 rankings with 38 of the 59 first-place votes and 1,589 points overall. SEC teams ranked in the Top 25 include Alabama (3rd), Georgia, (4th),  LSU (5th), Florida (8th), Auburn (11th), and Texas A&M (13th).

The Big Ten and SEC lead all conferences with six teams apiece in the Top 25 poll. The ACC and Big 12 are just behind with four teams each, and they are followed by the Pac-12 with three and the American with two.
