The Georgia Bulldogs have announced their 2020-21 basketball roster, which includes six returning players and eight newcomers.

Returning to the Bulldogs this season for head coach Tom Crean include junior Tye Fagan and sophomores Toumani Camara, Sahvir Wheeler, Christian Brown, Jaykwon Walton, and Jaxon Etter.

Among the eight newcomers are three graduate transfers — Andrew Garcia, P.J. Horne and Justin Kier. Three junior college transfers will suit up for the Hoop Dawgs this season, including juniors Jonathan Ned and Mikal Starks and sophomore Tyron McMillan.

The remaining two newcomers are freshman signees — K.D. Johnson and Josh Taylor.

A decision is expected soon on the start of the NCAA basketball season. It’s currently expected that the start date will be Wednesday, Nov. 21.

Georgia currently has 10 known non-conference opponents set for 2020-21, although that could change due to the season being pushed back. The Hoop Dawgs are currently slated to host Sam Houston State, Bowling Green, Wofford, Charleston Southern, Gardner-Webb, Montana, Cincinnati, and Memphis and will travel to play SMU.
