Georgia drops to 4th in AP and Coaches polls for Week 8

The Georgia Bulldogs, who lost to the No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide 41-24 on Saturday, have dropped one spot to 4th in both the AP and Coaches polls for Week 8.

Georgia received 1,300 points in the AP Poll, which is down 130 points from the Week 7 poll. In the Coaches Poll, UGA received 1,295 points, down 129 points from Week 7.

Clemson (5-0) remains the top-ranked team in both polls following their 73-7 win at the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Alabama is second, Notre Dame is third, and Ohio State is fifth in both polls.

Georgia’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 31 on the road against the Kentucky Wildcats. The game is set for 12:00pm ET and it will be televised by the SEC Network. The Bulldogs were previously scheduled to play at Kentucky on Oct. 24, but the game was pushed back one week by the SEC.
