The Georgia Bulldogs have added the North Georgia Nighthawks to their 2020-21 basketball schedule, the school announced on Monday.

Georgia will host North Georgia on Wednesday, December 2 at 7:00pm ET at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Ga. The game is a make-up contest for the Bulldogs after their scheduled season opener against Columbus State was canceled.

The Bulldogs opened the season with an 85-75 win over the Florida A&M Rattlers on Sunday. Graduate transfer Andrew Garcia came off of the bench to lead Georgia with 22 points, while Tye Fagan (21 points, 10 rebounds) and Sahvir Wheeler (12 points, 12 assists) both recorded double-doubles for the Bulldogs.

Georgia is scheduled to open SEC action on Wednesday, Dec. 30 at home against the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Other home opponents include Auburn, Kentucky, Florida, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Missouri, LSU, and South Carolina.
