The Georgia Bulldogs have moved up to 8th again in the College Football Playoff rankings for Dec. 15, 2020, the CFP announced on Tuesday.

Georgia moved up to 8th after crushing the Missouri Tigers on the road on Saturday, 49-14. Cincinnati, who was ranked 8th last week, dropped one spot to 9th.

Alabama is again ranked first, and the Crimson Tide are followed by Notre Dame, Clemson, Ohio State, and Texas A&M. Florida, which was upset by LSU 37-34, only dropped one spot to No. 7.

Georgia has no wins over teams currently ranked in the College Football Playoff Rankings. The Bulldogs fell to No. 1 Alabama, 41-24, and No. 6 Florida, 44-28, earlier this season.

Georgia was scheduled to host the Vanderbilt Commodores on Saturday, Dec. 19, but Vandy canceled the game due to COVID-19 issues.

The Bulldogs are currently ranked 10th in the AP Poll and 9th in the Amway Coaches Poll.
