2021 Georgia Bulldogs football schedule announced
The 2021 Georgia Bulldogs Football Schedule has been officially announced.
UGA is scheduled to open the 2021 season against the Clemson Tigers on Saturday, Sept. 4 in the Duke’s Mayo Classic. The game will be played at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C.
The following week on Sept. 11, the Bulldogs open their home schedule against the UAB Blazers at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga. SEC play begins one week later with the South Carolina Gamecocks visiting Athens on Sept. 18.
Georgia then makes the trip to Nashville to face the Vanderbilt Commodores on Sept. 25 before returning to Sanford Stadium to host the Arkansas Razorback on Oct. 2.
The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry resumes on Oct. 9 with the Bulldogs making the short trip south to play the Auburn Tigers at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Georgia then returns to Athens to host the Kentucky Wildcats on Oct. 16, which is followed by their only open week of the season on Oct. 23.
The Bulldogs will be the away team this season against the Florida Gators at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Fla. That game is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 30.
Following the trip to Jacksonville, Georgia returns home to host the Missouri Tigers on Nov. 6. The Bulldogs then close out SEC play on the road against the Tennessee Volunteers on Nov. 13.
Georgia’s final home game of the season is slated for Nov. 20 when the Charleston Southern Buccaneers visit Sanford Stadium.
Georgia closes out the 2021 regular-season on the road against the in-state rival Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Nov. 27. Last season’s Clean, Old Fashioned Hate game between the Bulldogs and Yellow Jackets was canceled due to COVID-19, marking the first season that the two schools haven’t met since 1924.
The 2021 SEC Championship Game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 4 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga.
Georgia is tentatively scheduled to open spring practice on Tuesday, March 16 with the annual G-Day Game slated for Saturday, April 17.
