Georgia announces complete 2021 baseball schedule

The Georgia Bulldogs have announced their 2021 baseball schedule, which features games against Clemson, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt.

Georgia is scheduled to open the 2021 baseball season at home at Foley Field (Feb. 19-21) with a four-game series against the Evansville Purple Aces. The series will feature a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at noon ET.

Other non-conference opponents on the 2021 slate include Georgia State (home-and-home series), Gardner-Webb (four-game series with a Saturday doubleheader), Kennesaw State (home-and-home series), North Florida (three-game series), Georgia Tech (home-and-home series), Georgia Southern (home-and-home series), Clemson (home-and-home series), and a single game against Wofford in Greenville, S.C.

Per the release, Georgia anticipates adding one additional non-conference game to their 2021 baseball schedule.

The Diamond Dawgs open SEC play at home at Foley Field in Athens, Ga., against the Tennessee Volunteers (Mach 19-21). Other home SEC opponents include South Carolina (April 2-4), Kentucky (April 16-18), Auburn (April 30-May 2), and Ole Miss (May 20-22).

Georgia will travel to face SEC foes Texas A&M (March 26-28), Vanderbilt (April 9-11), Missouri (April 23-25), Arkansas (May 7-9), and Florida (May 14-16).

Due to the ongoing novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, all opponents and dates are subject to change. Dates could also changes for television purposes and some SEC series could begin Thursday rather than Friday.

The 2021 SEC Baseball Tournament is scheduled for Tuesday, May 25 and wraps up on Sunday, May 30, 2021. The tournament will be played at the Hoover Met in Hoover, Ala.
