4-star offensive lineman Jacob Hood commits to UGA for 2022

Jacob Hood, a four-star offensive lineman from Nashville, Tenn. (Hillsboro High School), has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs for the class of 2022.

Hood announced his commitment to Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs on Monday afternoon via a video posted to his Twitter account. Check out the video below:

Jacob Hood (6-8, 342) committed to the Bulldogs over offers from several top schools, including Auburn, Baylor, Florida, Kentucky, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Penn State, South Carolina, TCU, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Virginia Tech.

Rivals.com rates Jacob Hood as a four-star recruit, the No. 25 offensive tackle, and the No. 212 overall recruit for the 2022 class.

247Sports rates Hood as a three-star recruit, the No. 39 offensive tackle, and the No. 388 overall recruit in the country for 2022.

With the addition of Jacob Hood, the Georgia Bulldogs now have 16 commitments for the class of 2022. UGA’s class has moved up two spots to No. 3 in the 247Sports Team Rankings behind Penn State (24 commits) and Notre Dame (21 commits).
