Georgia remains 2nd in AP Poll and Coaches Poll for Week 3

The Georgia Bulldogs, who defeated the UAB Blazers 56-7 on Saturday, have remained 2nd in both the AP Poll and Coaches Poll for Week 3.

Georgia received 1,514 points in the AP Poll, which is up seven points from the Week 2 poll. In the Coaches Poll, UGA received 1,558 points, up 21 points from Week 2. Georgia also picked up a first-place vote in the AP Poll to give them three of the 63 votes.

The Bulldogs’ next game is at home at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium against the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday, Sept. 18. The game will be televised by ESPN at 7:00pm ET.

South Carolina is currently 2-0 following wins over the Eastern Illinois Panthers, 46-0 at home, and the East Carolina Pirates, 20-17 on the road.
