Yazeed Haynes, a four-star wide receiver from Fort Washington Pa., has committed to UGA football for the class of 2023.

Haynes was previously committed to the Penn State Nittany Lions, but has flipped his commitment to Kirby Smart and the national champion Georgia Bulldogs.

Yazeed Haynes (6-1, 170) currently plays for North Penn High School in Fort Washington. He also had offers from Boston College, Bowling Green, Maryland, Minnesota, Ole Miss, Rutgers, Towson, and West Virginia.

Rivals.com rates Yazeed Haynes as a four-star recruit, the No. 33 wide receiver, and the No. 219 overall recruit in the country.

In the 247Sports Composite, Yazeed Haynes is rated as a three-star recruit, the No. 83 wide receiver, and the No. 635 overall recruit in the country for 2023.

“How they all treated me like I was family really stuck out to me,” Haynes told UGASports.com. “Talking to Coach BMac (receivers coach Bryan McClendon), Coach Fran (Brown), all the other coaches, Coach Smart. It was really just a warm, family feeling which I really liked.”

With the addition of Haynes, the Georgia Bulldogs now have 18 commitments for the class of 2023. UGA’s class is currently ranked third in the 247Sports Team Rankings. Ohio State currently leads the pack, and they are followed by Notre Dame and Georgia. Texas, Alabama, Clemson, Penn State, Miami, Oklahoma, and Tennessee round out the top 10.
